A waitlist will be established on November 1 with an allocation date of December 1. Florida region members who were finalists in the Division Championships will have first priority with FL Region members next and will be chosen in order of grade. Space will be limited. If space becomes available after the allocation date then the remaining wait list will be allowed to enter Championship Flight in order of grade with highest grades chosen first and First Flight by the highest FL member Grade.
Space will be limited to 57 players. (TD will be playing Doubles only) The top 7 on the player's list are pre-qualified by their finish in the District Championships.
We have arranged a block of rooms at Hotel Venezia, a Ramada by Wyndham property. Many players have stayed at this hotel and have recommended it.
We have a block of 25 rooms reserved for January 3rd check in and January 7th check out. The rate is $139 a night which is far below the $190-$230 rate a night quoted by the six closest hotels on the internet. Breakfast is not included. You must make your reservations by Dec 26th to get the rate. Guests are responsible for all rooms and charges. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Using USCA arranged blocks will give us more power in arranging future blocks. USCA is not compensated in anyway and has arranged the lowest price it could negotiate.
The hotel has a restaurant and bar and breakfast is available. It is close the lawns and close to downtown dining.
