The USCA's own deadline for availability in any of the three categories is December 2nd. The USCA AC Selection Committee (ACSC) will then submit the names of all available players to the WCF, together with the names of any players they wish to be considered for a wildcard place. The WCF will announce on January 1st which players have been granted ranking places, based on their 12 month maximum DG on December 18th (players must have played 5 games in the previous 12 months to be eligible). The ACSC will then nominate membership places from amongst those players who have not secured a ranking or wildcard place.
The USCA has 2 Membership Places to assign. There will also be a qualifying event for at least four more places to be held at Sussex County Croquet Club on July 10 - 13 (open to players of any nationality). Entry for this event will open next year.
